I find this to be an inexpensive alternative to higher-priced cables sold through the manufacturer. I can offer some helpful hints here…if you have satellite tv, the universal remote they give you may not work to switch the tv to AUX…for that I had to use the remote that came with my tv. At first I got no video output, but I discovered you have to set the iPod video settings to “TV/OUT-YES”, then it worked perfectly.
